What am I thankful for this Thanksgiving? You! I receive so many letters from so many of you, and I could not be more grateful for that. Thank you!
Today I am sharing a wonderful letter from Carole. Her GI doc was nice but couldn't really help her, so at 80 years of age she got into the driver's seat and got her life back.
Happy Thanksgiving Carole, and everyone!

Dear Heather - My gastroenterologist is a nice, pleasant, knowledgeable man. HOWEVER, he cannot tell me how to fix it (IBS pain). He prescribed pantoprazole and that was it. HOWEVER, he did have a nutritionist in his office suite and told me to ask about IBS and FODMAP. I did so immediately. That was the real beginning of my journey to feeling better many more days than not. I did the FODMAP elimination diet and was markedly improved very quickly. I learned what my body cannot tolerate. It takes time to figure out how much of which foods can make me sick.
My nutritionist told me about Tummy Tamers, she had heard about them from another client of hers with IBS. Now that I have found your products (and your email tips) I finally feel I have gained control of my body.
I AM in the driver's seat with your products. Now I may knowingly eat something I am still not sure of and be uncomfortable from it. Before your products it would take me between 2 or 3 days to get over an attack from this. Now, it's within a couple of hours or, often less.
I take an extra Tummy Tamer (routinely I take one before bed and another first thing in the morning), and I use your strong Peppermint Tea - and that's all I need to do. In fact, I have quit beating myself up when I make mistakes and eat too much of the wrong thing and get sick because now I know what the fix is (your products) and don't have to cancel things I have planned.
I also use your Tummy Fiber acacia sengal too (1 Tbsp. twice daily.)
I'm 80 years old, suffered from digestive issues all my life. As one gets older we get weaker and a couple of years ago I got very ill (ended up at the emergency ward due to dehydration and other pain.) That trip was the beginning of getting well again, now, with a little help from my friend, Heather.
I AM well 99% of the time. So now. (think musical notes) "I get a little help from my friend ..."
Carole G.
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your story, Carole! And now I'm hearing that song in my head...
I have stacks of letters like this, going back to 1998, and I continue to get new ones every day. For years, people have told me "you should read these letters to everyone, they could really make a difference in people's lives." So, I've started sharing them.
I hope that these Letters to Heather resonate with you and make a difference in your life. I am so thankful to have received them.
