I'm pretty much doing the exact same thing as you. I'm eating squash, mushrooms, carrots, and beets as SF veggies. Banana, berries, nectarines and melons, and apples for fruit. I'm eating more nuts and sticking to the safe meats. I'm also reducing my dependence on wheat products, having more quinoa, some rice and oatmeal instead. I don't eat wheat every day anymore!
There is so many different sources for the paleolithic diet, some even have lists of vegetables to stay away from. I'm just going at it in a logical way, eating more natural foods and lots of veggies. And I'm definitely cooking my veggies, my tum comes first.
