The recipes you use look wonderful, Sinead. I might have to expand my repetoire a little, too. Here's what I cook for company:
Bev's Crockpot Bourbon Breast of Chicken over non-egg noodles, of course - this is my answer to almost every question about recipes: favorite, company, make ahead, alcoholic ...
Shell's Turkey Meatloaf - Even people who look at it funny when I tell them what I'm serving really like this. I cut back on the garlic a little. I serve it with Skinny Mashed Potatoes.
Barbara's Spaghetti Sauce has been a favorite company dish for over 30 years.
The pizza from the EFI cookbook with chicken, barbecue sauce, and scallions goes over well, also. Here I can buy Pillsbury refrigerator tube pizza dough which is IBS-safe and saves a lot of work.
For a cold supper or a lunch, I serve RachelT's Almond Chicken Salad.
I haven't tried them on a lot of people, but my brother just loves the Simple Sweet Cornbread from EFI and Kree's Peking Burgers, although not at the same time.
HTH.
