Funny you should mention canned salmon now. I just found this recipe today and want to try it soon!
Pasta With Salmon and Dill (Makes 4-5 servings)
2 tablespoons soy margarine 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 1/2 cups soy milk 2 teaspoons prepared mustard 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill, divided 3 green onions, chopped 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 cup frozen peas 2 (7.5 ounces) cans salmon, drained and broken into chunks salt and pepper, to taste 3/4 lb fettuccine pasta
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. 2. Melt margarine in a saucepan. 3. Stir in flour. 4. Cook 2 minutes on gentle heat. 5. Whisk in milk, and bring to a boil. 6. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes. 7. Whisk in mustard, green onion,lemon juice,and half of the dill and cook for 1 minute. 8. Meanwhile cook fettucine in boiling water. 9. When tender, drain well. 10. Combine sauce with noodles. 11. Garnish with remaining dill.
