CALUMET Baking Powder 2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided 1 tsp. salt 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, divided (any thoughts on how the soy margarine could be seperated to bring the fat down?? where would I substitute applesauce??) 1 egg 3/4 cup milk, divided 2 cups chopped apples 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 cup sifted powdered sugar MIX flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, 1 tsp. of the cinnamon and salt; cut in 1/2 cup of the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. WHISK egg and 2/3 cup of the milk until well blended. Add to flour mixture; mix just until moistened. Spread into greased 9-inch square baking pan. MELT remaining 1/4 cup butter. Mix with apples, walnuts, brown sugar and remaining 1 tsp. cinnamon; spoon over batter. BAKE at 375°F for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. MIX powdered sugar and remaining milk. Add additional teaspoons of milk to achieve desired drizzling consistency, if necessary. Drizzle over cake. KRAFT KITCHENS TIPS
