THANKS! That's a big relief. I never saw the shingles outbreak (it was on the BACK of my head, under my hair), so I don't know what it looks like. This rash I'm breaking out with is strange-looking, but not what I would think shingles would look like.

The first rash outbreak occurred just before we decided to quit our jobs, sell the California home, and move up here. Yeah, that was enough stress to cause it.

Your explanation of "prolonged stress from the past" makes a lot of sense. I've never handled stress well. However, you'd think that all the work I've been doing lately would be enough to "burn it off." Not so.

You busted me. I haven't been on that damn rowing machine in months -- except to trip over it! I keep threatening to take it over to one of the storage units, but hubby won't agree. I wonder why......

I got some bad news today. The nurse called with the results of my lab tests. While my cholesterol is fine, my triglycerides are too high, and he wants to put me on more meds. Damn. I don't wanna be on more meds! I'm already nauseated every morning from the damn blood pressure meds, I don't need more nausea -- and D! That's right, the side effects of Lopid are (get this): nausea, dizziness, and DIARRHEA! Oh, AND RASH too! The nurse and I had a good laugh over that one. I had just asked her for a prescription for the rash!

The doc gave in to my pleas, on the provision that I keep my promise: I am to exercise EVERY DAY for three solid months, stay on Heather's diet (what else would I be doing, pray tell?!), and get lab tests taken again Oct. 1. If, by then, I haven't reduced my triglycerides, I'm on that damn drug.

When I told hubby, he grabbed me by the arm and tossed me out the door with the puppy dog. We went for a nice long walk around town, 'till Kenzie couldn't take any more and squatted, panting frantically, telling us he'd had enough. (Thank God!)

Tommorrow it's the rowing machine. Keep on my a** -- won'tcha? It's really important now.

Thanks, Cutie!

P.S.: Tomorrow night...... are you ready?
