Just a thought......       06/08/04 06:36 PM Edit Reply Quote peaches Reged: 09/28/03 Posts: 1183 Loc: Fort Wayne, Indiana My GI told me the same thing that yours did, and told me that he believed the syndrome was really 75% mental and that the other 25% only fluxuates (sp?) off and on and you know what........I actually think he's right. A majority of the time I'm able to whatever I feel like and not get sick. But for several days here and there I have totaly IBS symptons. So I dunno. I mean, it's a really weird concept to me, so I have no clue what's true and what's not. Who even knows lol I mean, it would make sense since it's never really, truly diagnosed because you can't SEE it......I'm so confused!!! I'll hafta call back so we can discuss this more. Because I really do think that you guys are right, but then his ideas do make sense to me, too.
