A GEM (Ouch) of a True Story       04/06/04 10:18 AM Edit Reply Quote Bevvy Reged: 11/04/03 Posts: 5918 Loc: Northwest Washington State I just heard this news story on CNN: A woman was arrested for stealing a 1.5-caret diamond from a jewelry store where she hid the diamond by SWALLOWING it! They retrieved the gem awhile later from a toilet in her jail cell and returned it to the manufacturer to "re-market." (They're lucky she'd wasn't a "C"!)
