I've no idea why I'm posting this, as it will probably mean NOTHING to any of you on the other side of the ocean, but.. my parents (and me) are originally from Liverpool, England and they grew up there in the 50s/60s/early 70s until we moved away. So they were around in that great old era that produced loads of famous people and music from out of Liverpool.
My mum's cousin (who she saw a lot of and was quite close to) was the original drummer with 'Jerry and the Pacemakers' (ever heard the Liverpool anthem 'You'll never walk alone') and ...
my dad's cousin was Leonard Rossiter (my paternal grandmother's maiden name was Rossiter and Leonard was a few years older than my dad, but they knew each other when my dad was a kid) - very famous actor over here - starred in 'Rising Damp' and, well see the link if you're even remotely interested!!!... http://www.what-a-character.com/cgi-bin/display.cgi?id=982797971
