I was called a few months ago, but fortunately I have a legal qualification which makes me exempt from sitting on a jury. However, I'm not practising now, so I may only be able to use that excuse for the next 10 years...lol! I'm not sure if they'd accept IBS as a valid medical reason, here in the UK.
