I read the book awhile ago, so I can't remember if it sticks exactly to the book. You would think it would be really dark, but Peter Jackson does a good job with lifting us up, too. And I have to say, Mark Wahlberg (sp?), is really good in this. Some movies you just have to see at the theatre and this is one of them. The Heaven sequences are great.
