Hey Geri,
I finally got my letter from OHIP today - it was supposed to be delivered on Dec 24th. Somebody at the Ministry of Health cannot type and mistyped my address.... grrrr. They received a voice mail about that foul up!
But, in the end, I was denied coverage for traveling to the US for treatment or even an assessment.
I can't afford $100K so I doubt I'll be crossing the border anytime soon for surgery.
I'm too wiped out tonight to get into details... It's been a really tough few days - my head has been horrible. Today peaked on 8/10.
But I have some information about Chiari and some links on my blog if you're interested...
Hope you're having a good day... And even though I'm mostly stable, I still pop into the board, it's still a friendly place to be.
