Cassandra, yes you are right about the aperson thread. That was a strange situation. I started chatting with her about her life and all of a sudden it was WW3. It started very innocently, and ended very harshly. Sad, indeed.
Your attitude is fantastic considering the magnitude of the situation you may face. I was just complaining today because I was in a cycle of C, and sometimes you just have to stop and think that someone out there has it much worse.
It sounds like you need to pace yourself to keep the Chiari from being so painful. But, I know it's hard. I am like that. Once I get started I don't want to quit until it's all done.
I am not a religious person, more spiritual if you will, but I will certainly say a prayer to a higher power for you, that you get OHIP approval.
Yes, my folks were the same way. They had to grab hold of me at about 18-19 and say, "Wake-up, kid, or your life is going down the toilet." That is why I so understood aperson. Been there, done that. At 30 I am successful, and I owe it all to them.
Yes, you are a nice poster. I have observed others, and some will point fingers, when they haven't checked their own back yard. And some seem to appear out of the blue, to chastise, only when there is discord/contention, otherwise they are MIA. So, you are surely a pleasure.
Speaking of MIA, I hope one day, I am MIA. That will mean I am feeling pretty darn good...right?
Well, nice chatting, and please update me when you find out about the OHIP. Brain surgery sounds so darn scary to me, but if it relieves your pain and is your only option, then I guess you must. I am going to look up Chiari, so I know what it's about.
Take care.
