See a good Gastroenterologist and OB/GYN

I was "diagnosed" with IBS in 1991 by a Gastroenterologist who was supposed to be the top of his field. I lived with this diagnosis ever since. But, within the last year, my symptoms became unbearable. Thankfully, all I read on Heather's site convinced me to be rechecked by both a different Gastroenerologist and my OB/GYN. After many tests (the worst being a colonoscopy and endoscopy), I was diagnosed with Celiac's Disease and several large ovarian cysts. The Celiac's Disease was the cause of the IBS. I have since gone on a Gluten Free diet and things are improving. Not sure yet what will happen with the cysts. My point is, please get re-checked periodically. I am still using many of Heather's Products just as the soluable fiber and teas. They help so much. Don't rule out deeper underlying health issues. IBS is hard enough to live with, but rule out deeper issues too! Thanks for making me do this Heather.
