Last spring I caught the intestinal flu and to my great relief it was over in the 24 to 48 hours the doctor said it would be. I went on the "What you can eat when you can't eat anything" diet AFTER the symptoms of the flu subsided and I was pretty good. It did not set me back into full blown IBS mode. Don't forget your align if you get it.
