I'm sorry you've hit a downturn after starting off so well. I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed the remicade kicks in. I can't believe you've already been taking it for 2 months - hope the third month is the charm.

As for the wedding, I think Zen is the only way to be. I know everyone gets caught up in the "how will the pictures look" thing, but truly the reason you're in the wedding is because the bride loves you and wants you with her. I do hope your swelling goes down and you feel well enough to enjoy yourself some. And a pedicure. Sigh. I haven't had one in years. I think I'd go with hot pink polish.

And what is it with bridesmaids' dresses? I was in a wedding once where the bride was a dark-eyed brunette with honey-kissed skin and all her bridesmaids were like me: green or blue-eyed blondes with complexions so pale we look like we've been dead for a week. The bride put us all in peachy-orange dresses. They would have looked great on her but we all looked like moldy cheese. That was something even double-sided tape couldn't help.
