Unfortunately, I was a little unhappy with my visit yesterday. The GI basically told me nothing new. He wasn't concerned with my diet or weight - he didn't even ask. He hasn't done a colonoscopy since I was diagnosed at 17. Even more unfortunate he is the only GI in town. (We have 110,000 people, and yes, 1 GI) Until someone new moves here, he's it. And you can't request a referral out of town, because he is here to perform "necessary" services.
It was a "fun" visit.
