I take the attitude is I can't move a mountain, but if I can help one person, that person will help another, and another .... I've been shocked when I have said I have IBS and 90% of the time, people know what it is and someone else who has it. I talk up this website. When I was in the hospital for 6 weeks before my daughter was born, I talked to nurses, Docs and gave them the address for this website. I lent out my IBS books, and although it's so frustrating, try to inform people one person at a time. Eventually we'll get there. The alternative is to scream at the Doctors. That will make us feel better but won't help others. Make sense?
