My dad just yesterday asked me "so are you not eating beef at ALL?" umm, I haven't eaten beef since January when I started this diet, and I jad told my family about it. There's always going to be people who just don't get it. In fact most people just won't understand at all. The best thing to do is be consistent in telling them what you eat, and how stress affects you. One thing that helped me is that I ordered the Eating for IBS Diet book from this site and gave it to my mom to read. She understands me a lot better since then, including my moods and fatigue if I get an attack. You're not alone!
