Hi Dani,

This sounds exactly the same my sister in laws situation and I will tell you the same thing as I told her...It sounds like he is scared you will get blamed for everything and be asked to change things he doesn't want to change or doesn't think needs changing.

I would enforce the fact that you want to go to councelling for YOU and HIM not to beat up on him.

Honestly, if you are unhappy though and he doesn't support you in counselling or whatever you need there is a problem.

I went to counselling and my husband offered to come and to help me deal with whatever I need to deal with and he needed to help with. Your husband should do the same for you.

I am sorry if I have seemed...I just totally understand what you are going through, but can't imagine getting the reaction you have gotten.

I feel for you! Please keep us posted as to how things work out for you!
