If insurance approves it, I am assuming that most of it (if not all) would be covered. It's a medical condition and unlike other Botox procedures, it's not at all cosmetic.
The doc said it's not painful, the needles are hair thin. It will take only about 15 mins total and they will do a test to see what sweat glands are acting up. Then they mark it in blue marker and use those marks to inject the Botox into. She sid it will hurt for 2 days but nothing serious. I honestly don't care if it does hurt though!
The pamphlet she gave me said that a study showed that it lasts for 201 days or 6.7 months so it has to be repeated.
