I began buying Passover foods (foods containing no rye, oats, spelt, leavening, beans, corn, rice) 3 weeks ago. Then you have to get rid of all the food listed above and put it somewhere or sell it. It's a BIG ordeal and it is very time consuming. You have to "turn over" your whole house (not just the kitchen) and make meals with the stuff you bought containing none of the "offending:" ingredients. Then you eat this way for a week.
