When we moved it the house was just awful!! There was a gaudy, cheap gold thing hanging in the kitchen and it had to go!! Can you believe I ordered the chandelier from JC Penny's??!!! It was like $79.95 or something very reasonable like that and I thought it matches perfect!
All the woodwork is original from 1922! The person who owned the house before us painted the woodwork in the bedrooms white but the rest of it is still natural. All the walls are plaster though and they are a pain in the arse to sand and paint! But we have 10 feet ceilings throughtout so that helps!
The house is very small, just over 1,100 sq feet but you can see through the front room, dinning room and kitchen so it makes it look a lot bigger!! The three bedrooms are VERY small. A king size bed and two small night tables are all that fits in the largest one!! I use another bedroom for my "dressing room." It has the dressers and my makeup table in it and its full! The third bedroom it right off the front room and we took the door off and I use it for a craft room and I have my elliptical trainer in there as well. Maybe one day that'll be a baby's room! We have a fairly big corner lot, for the city anyways!!
