I know we have 10.5 months until we celebrate our 10th but let's face it; we have to accommodate sitters and save up, lol.
Our first honeymoon was a disaster. We stayed in a horrible place that pretty much took your money upfront and said once you pay you can't get a refund. We were young and stupid. It was 6 days before I turned 21 after all. Anyways, we did get an upgraded room but it was only slightly better. We spent that week shopping.
For our 10th we want to go away, without kids any kids that give too many opinions . If I'm pregnant that is fine, lol. Anyways, my mil has offered to take the girls and my parents, well dad has said they can help if need be. My mil works a school schedule so we need to be aware of that. We were talking about going on our anniversary but as I said in another post, we had a snow storm that caused a driving band the weekend we got married and the thought of being stranded is too much. Especially since we have had a mild winter this year. We might go Columbus Day weekend or the end of August when my mil is off for 2 weeks. I'm leaning towards August for flexibility and more time or October.
