Great idea to sit through the process! My mom showed me the map of her diamond in her engagement ring. It was a hand-me-down from her in-laws and she had a pretty significant flaw in it. But it makes the map all the cooler as you can see what they've drawn.
It drives me crazy paying for stuff like that!! I hope everything works out fine (I know it will!!).
