I love tattoos. I like the entire process. It's more of an experience really. I have a cresent moon with stars on my ankle. And I have a backpiece with a phoenix, lotus, tribal design, and all kinds of other things done in black and greys. It covers my entire back. It's good to wait until you're certain of what you want before you get a tattoo. And shop around. Look at artists portfolios and ask people you see around who did their work if you like it. Make sure that the place you go to meets sterility/safety standards and uses only new needles. Depending on where you get your tattoo at and your pain tolerance, it can feel like anything from a deep massage to someone pulling a knife over your skin. Most places just feel like someone scratching a sunburn. The most painful place I've had tattooed is the base of my back on the spine. The least painful place the top center of my back and the calf above the ankle bone. Any questions-just ask.
