Aspie's can end up very depressed and worse if they are misunderstood and they ARE the target for bullies, almost ALWAYS, if not protected. I'll pray your hubby and ex-wife give some serious thought to what a nightmare middle school could be and probably will be with no intervention on this sweet boy's behalf. LIke I said, breaks my heart. By the way, Asperger's is often mistaken for ADHD, and the sad thing is they end up highly medicated when what they really need is therapy.
