I moved to a new town in grade eight, being a severe asthmatic(when there was no asthma back then) and gifted, and a little socially spaced out....it was TORTURE. My mom told me to suck it up and offered no support when i was bullied everysingle day. That's why I am so convinced this is the career for me, because I have been there, and even tiny bits of bullying with kids is treated as VERY VERY serious in my classroom.

Just keep fighting. i'm sorry your Dh feels so passive agressive. i guess I'd be scared they'd be taken away too, but you have to keep fighting.
