Hey BL!
I've been on Weight Watchers for 40 days now. I'm doin' real well with it, down a few pounds, and feelin' GREAT! The online program is SOOO much better than our local lecturer; she's terrible. I post a lot on the online Boards and calculate my old recipes so I know the points. I LOVE it!
Gigi is also on WW, and we support each other via e-mail. We also share recipes. It's fun.
I used to take flax seed oil -- in an attempt to reduce my cholesterol -- and in fact, I'm not sure why I stopped. I might just start up again. Check this out: web page
I'm a "D" but I did not notice that the capsules gave me any more "D." BTW, be sure the capsules you buy are REFRIGERATED; otherwise, they're sure to be rancid.
Sorry to hear you're having tummy problems, but if it's any consolation, I had them as well when I first started on WW. It's a LOT of veggies all at once, which we're just not used to. Also, I found out the hard way to stay clear of all the prepared WW products. They contain nasty stuff, like Heaven-Forbid Dairy, artificial sweeteners, HFCS, and (the worst) Maltitol Syrup! YIKES!
I don't think that sluggish feeling is necessarily a bad thing because I think it's actually our bodies burning fat. Oprah complained about it on her diet show some years back, and her trainer told her that she wasn't familiar with the feeling of her body burning the fat, and to "cherish the feeling." Yeah right....
Keep up the struggle. We'll get there Girlfriend!
