Kelly, a while ago I was on disability for my IBS and had to go through the same thing. My doctors did the paperwork, but I still had to go see one of "their" docs for my reevaluation. I was treated like crap...but it all turned out well in the end, after waiting months for the final decision. These Disability Doctors are used to working with people who abuse the system and the doctors get all caught up in your number, not YOU as a person.
Like I said, my evaluator treated me terribly, but in the end, I think it was my own doctors paperwork that got me reapproved. I really think the evaluation is just a formality...so try not to worry about that part.
Now, having said that, that does not excuse this idiot doctor from treating you so rudely to the point you were in tears. This doctor is in the wrong business. Sorry you had to go through such a rough time.
