For my husband's stocking so far I have his favorite candy bar, some Krazy Glue, and some miniatures he can paint up for some game. Oh yes, and a bag of glow in the dark zombies. I don't think he'd like hotwheels unless they were the right scale.
I need to get a pair of underwear for the toe of his stocking, too. This is a tradition I've swiped from my Mom. Every year for I don't know how long, she puts a pair of underwear in the bottom of my sister's and my stockings. Sometimes they're granny pants and sometimes they're racier.
I married an overgrown kid.  The man will be 38 next month. He still reads & collects comics, plays miniatures and role playing games, loves Batman, has a light saber that actually lights up (you should see his face when he plays with it...that sounds kinky...but it's really just geeky), and used to collect Legos. 
But he treats me like gold, I love him to pieces and I consider myself lucky that no one snapped him up first.
