If he turns into a troublesome teenager then maybe get him fixed but he might not be a problem anyway. Archie never got that bad (he was fixed at a year old) and we only got him fixed b/c he has an inherited disease so any pups of his would have had a high risk of getting the same thing and we didn't want to risk that (it was miserable enough for him).
And anyway, he still humps his cushion occasionally! That's another thing you can do, let them do what they want to their own bedding but not let them get away with ever doing it to anything else (eg people's legs). It's kept Archie happy and he never humps anything else so it's not a problem.
Oh yeah, that was what I was going to say....getting them fixed doesn't come with a guarantee of no naughty business anyway! My old dog got fixed young and he still humped anything and mounted bitches and went crazy after bitches in heat. So it's not a simple solution - it all comes down to your dog and how you train them whatever.
