Hey Guys,
Sorry I haven't been on much, late last week my computer crashed so I was offline, and I've been sick so I haven't been on much I've been trying to keep up with what's going on with everyone though.
Anyways, I could really use some help here. I was really sick last week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) and then started to feel better Wednesday (by sick I mean I think I had a stomach bug or something). Anyways, since Wednesday (and sorry if this is TMI) my stools have been really pale with white patches. This really scared me...I was hoping it was because for a few days I ate nothing but white rice and white bread, but I've been eating normally (and colorful) foods since Wednesday and there has been no improvement.
So, I went to the doctor's today and they said while there is a *chance* it's just because I was sick and the diet and everything...they said it's most likely some sort of gallbladder problem or blockage somewhere in the biliary tree. I said then shouldn't i go have an ultrasound or something but they said they didn't want to jump the gun and just ordered blood work. They told me an obstruction, gall stone would should up there. If nothing shows up or if something shows up then they'll do the ultrasound. In the meantime, I'm petrified that I'm going to have a full-blown gallbladder attack while I'm waiting, and I've heard how painful they can be so I don't want that ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif)
So, does anyone have any advice? The only thing I can get from the doctor is to avoid having any really high fat meals. But I feel like I shouldn't be eating at all (probably not right). And I don't know how low in fat I should be trying to eat...it's very frustrating and I'm really scared.
Anyways, hope someone can help me out or offer some words of wisdom.
Thanks, Kelly
