Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

I need to whine...I'm sorry I haven't been on as much lately but I've been really sedated thanks to the meds from the psychiatrist and now I've got my period which is causing tremendous pain. Maybe Nelly or someone else with endo will respond here, but I don't know what to do...none of the pain meds are working because they're all causing bowel/tummy problems...plus, the doctors already suspect I have endo involvement on the bowel so the NSAIDs and stuff are BAD NEWS for me. So I've tried to get through without taking anything, and pretty much spent the last 4 days in bed.

Plus, now I've got this terrible lower left-sided pain...it almost feels like something is stuck to something else...it worsens when I have to go to the bathroom and hurts like nobody's business when I actually go. Any suggestions?

One more thing, does peppermint tea expire? I don't drink it much anymore because it really aggravates my GERD, but I don't care about the GERD much right now. I've just got some Tetley brand stuff (in the little metal canisters)...but I've had it for awhile, what do you guys think?
