When you say your daughter was checked out, I assume she just had a regular physical/internal exam? I'm only asking because endometriosis can only be diagnosed via laparospic surgery, and a lot of doctors will jump to the conclusion of IBS and not even consider endometriosis. It just always raises red flags for me whenever someone is debilitated during their periods...because that generally shouldn't occur from just IBS. You may want to check out some info on endometriosis and just see if any of the other symptoms fit your daughter. In the meantime, the great info here should help her to get stable and certainly won't hurt if it's endo.
