Advice needed for teenage girl with IBS       07/22/05 04:39 PM Edit Reply Quote marksgal82 Reged: 07/22/05 Posts: 3 Loc: Montana My beautiful daughter has suffered with pain, bloating, gas and constipation for over two years. The Dr. finally diagnosed her with IBS, but the pills didn't make a difference. Neither did the herbal remedies we tried. She continues to be plagued with the pain and discomfort and becomes very depressed at times. The pain greatly increases during her period to become debilitating. She eats more often causing her to gain a bit of weight. The Dr. tells me that teenage girls suffer differently from adults and need to be treated differently, but gives to advice to this other than meds. I am sure some of you began this awful journey as a teen so I plead for your help, that I might help my daughter. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
