Well, truth be told, I'm doin' great off Heather's program. (Don't tell anyone.) Oh, I'm sure I have IBS, there's no question about it, but I think it's in a kind of remission. Like I said, I can't go near ice cream, but I can tolerate a LITTLE dairy. For example, I eat a lot of green salad with Ranch lite dressing on it, and it doesn't bother me at all. Also, the pesto sauce that the pizza parlor uses has real parmesan in it, and it doesn't bother me either.
Yes, dead cow goes down just fine, as well as any kind of raw fruit or raw veggies. However, I use soy cheese, soy butter, and soy "ice cream."
Gluten ain't no problem for me. Yaaay! I just found that I feel better when I stay clear of bread (except for whole wheat buns on my burgers). Also, I've lost some weight (12 pounds) since I cut out the soluble fiber; hubby's lost 19. His pants are falling off him. I asked if he wanted me to take them in for him, and he said, "are you KIDDING?!"
What a show-off!
