Salt water, according to my sister who is a hygentist, is not good to do. My husband swears by it but when I was doing that recently for a ulcer I had in my mouth from who knows what,my sister said to stop doing that. She recommended this stuff by Colgate. It kinda put a paste over the sore and had an analgesic in it to help with the pain. I hate to tell you this but it took a LONG time to heal. 2 weeks I think. I hope it feels better real soon!!
