Hey Guys,

I know about heat stroke but I know there can be lesser heat-related illnesses. I"m a little concerned because I've been exercising a lot outside and we're in the middle of a bad heat wave. I take precautions, dress lightly and drink lots of water and Kool-Aid Sports Water (I don't like it but it replinishes electrolytes) but today when I got home my legs were cramping really badly and my skin gets very red and clammy.

Does anyone know how to tell if you're having a heat-problem? All I know is when I come back from exercising, I usually have bad cramping and I find I can't tolerate my usual hot shower.

Also, do you guys exercise in the heat? I mean, I see a lot of other people out exercising too and they seem ok. It's about 40 degrees celsius here with the humidex and we are under a smog advisory warning. I have mild asthma so I take my inhaler with me and figure that's good enough. What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Kelly
