*HUGS* Staying together for your kids is not the answer! It's more stressful for them, in my opinion. My parents are staying together basically for my brothers (don't want to go into details, email me if you really want them)...I don't even live with my parents and it stresses me out! Having to hear about the fights, about my mom breaking down/having meltdowns, having to deal with the fact that yesterday was their 20th anniversary and I couldn't wish them happy anniversary with a clear conscience. All three of us kids WANT them to get a divorce, it's that bad. Granted my brothers (they're teenagers in high school) and I are a little older than your boys, but it cannot be easy on them that Mom and Dad don't get along.
Best of luck finding a place for yourself, and I think you're making the right move!
