My position is titled "library specialist," but really I'm just a lowly part-time library clerk. Actually, there's quite a lot of respect from our patrons and among the library staff and administration, so it's a great place to work. I'm in the circulation department, which means I mostly work with the public, check materials in and out, translate materials, and do interpreting for Spanish-speaking patrons as needed.
I would love to return to grad school next year, but there's a lot of things to think about at the moment.
