I also have read that the husband could have divorced her years ago and that also that he refused the 5 million dollars as well. I sincerely believe that he has Teri's best interest at heart and that he is fighting for her wishes to be carried out. I would hope that someone would do this for me if I were ever in that condition. Another, hopefully, "positive" thing that this may bring about is the awareness of how serious eating disorders can be! This woman came to this devastating state after suffering a heart attack brought on from her bulimia. I think this factor has been undershadowed. Women need to know just how dangerous Eating Disorders can be. I hope it helps some of the many women and men who are suffering with eating disorders to seek help and to stop this destructive and deadly behavior.
