First of all, your friend doesn't sound very nice! She has no right to come down on you or judge you! I learned a long time ago to stop comparing myself to others. Just because she is superwomen with a migrine, doesn't mean you are any less of a person because you take it easy when you don't feel well!!
That being said, if I stayed home everytime I didn't feel well, I'd hardley leave the house! Unfortunately, my job doesn't offer me the niceity of calling in sick. I work for a small office, if I don't go in, the office doesn't open. By the same token, I don't think anyone should have to endure some of the days that I do at work! There have been a few times when I've had to post a note on the door and leave.
I don't have fibro and don't get mirgraines so I can't even pretend to know what you suffer through. I do know that every once in a while my tummy gets so bad I can hardley stand up straight or even breath. But, I have realized that I'm never going to feel good all the time or even most of the time. I do have to let my housework go sometimes so I can attend a social event.
If you are happy not to go out and participate in social functions, than I wouldn't worry one little bit about what your "friend" said. If you would like to try and get out more, there may be days when you have to struggle because of health issues, but if the house isn't cleaned on those days, so what?? There are going to be days when you just can't do something because you are not feeling well and you shouldn't let anyone make you feel guilty for it!
