I think that it is very healthy for our immune systems to get out and socialize with friends and family. It can positively affcet our moods too. That said, you are the only one that knows when you feel too rough to spend time with friends. I wouldn't take offense to her comments as I think she wants what's best for you. She may have been way too harsh and unsympathetic but I think she meant well. Why not try and get out when you do feel well. I try to socialize as much as I feel happy doing. That usually just means going out once or twice a week with friends and then on Sat. night and maybe Sunday afternoon. But I also have my weekends where all I want to do is veg and be alone. Nobody can make you feel bad for taking care of yourself and making your own rules. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
