Like everyone said, its sort of up to you -- it seems from your explanation that there is no really 'good' time, so in essence, any time will be just as bad as any other.
That being said, unless you have 'freedom' issues, there's no sense in delaying having children if you want to and feel that you are financially/psychologically/emotionally ready to do so.
Just my 2 cents. (Coming from a guy who isn't even married nor in grad school, as a disclaimer)
