Your idea of becoming a dietician specializing in veganism sounds so you! And I agree about being able to set your own hours. The restictive rigid set hours of working for someone else is really aggravating. I feel like a slave reporting for duty!
I'm not sure what I would love to do for sure. I'm like you. There are so many things I have thought about. Most are in the Health Care field: Dietetics, Public Health, Nursing, Dental Hygenist (good pay and only 2 year school). And I have become very interested in alternative medicine after all this. Sort of what Angie and Dalia are pursuing. But I've also thought about School Psychologist, Accounting, Library Science, Paralegal, accounting...
My interests are so varied and I know if I pick one, it means I can't do all the others
I know I can't do anything until I get a little stabler with this IBS. And the money problem is probably going to stop me from doing anything unfortunately! Plus, I don't think I could handle the stress of working FT and going to school and doing homework and having a life! It was easier when I was 18 years old and no responsibilities!
My degree is in psychology, but I don't do anything related to it. And I majored in it because I switched majors so late in my schooling that I just picked a major that I had the most credits in just to get a Degree! My plan was to go on to Grad School, but somehow that never happened.
If I did it over, definately Health care related.
What I do know for sure is even if I don't go back to school, I do need to get a higher paying job. As I said $11 an hour isn't going to cut it! And I hate my work hours. Too early in the morning which is the hardest time for my tummy. A time of 10 to 6 would be ideal, and 40,000 a year would be outstanding. Heck, I'll take 30,000 a year!
