Yes, I work as a graphic artist now. There is a senior designer here so I just get the leftovers and it's usually very boring, uninspiring, more technical stuff. Like right now, I am doing up a map of our light rail system and indicating where all the braking systems are on the map along the 8km route. Fun, fun. Then my boss gave me a very complicated thing to layout that the designer doesn't want to touch. There's very little direction and I have to come up with an innovative and interesting way to put various types of information for this one brochure together. Fun, fun...
I have been thinking a lot about my field lately and think that it's not for me. While I am very artistic, I am not as great at coming up with extremely original and creative concepts. I was thinking of going to school to become a dietician, specializing in vegetarianism, veganism and of course eating for digestive disorders! I would need a BA in nutrition so I'd need to go to University for four years. I can't afford that right now. I might just take one night class to start.
I love the idea of working for myself and being a consultant. I could make my own hours! I HATE working full-time and 9-5. Ugh!
What do you love doing? I could have 5 or 6 careers as I love too many things!
Thanks for asking about my sleep. I slept great for the first three days after my new yoga class. But I'm back to normal again. I have it again tomorrow night so I'm hoping that it will work it's "magic" again!
