Interesting...reading this in L.A.

That's interesting...seasonal affective disorder.

I live in the West San Fernando Valley. Now, L.A. is famous for it's hot weather. And..., where I'm located is in one of the warmest spots. Yet, when October rolls around the air starts to finally cool off after ghastly August and September. The "lack of sun" is a welcome relief. But, around mid-January it's time to look forward to the Spring again.

Yes, the climate is very hot and dry (sometimes a bit monotonous). But, it lends very well to people like me who are chronic depressives. So, there must be something to this sun-mood connection.
