Anyone get seasonal affective disorder?

After an absolutely gorgeous Sept and two weeks of incredible weather in Oct, the boom has finally dropped and it got cold and rainy here this weekend. I live in northern Ontario and we have 5-6 months of winter, and I usually end up with pretty significant SAD by the end of December. I am just wondering if other people get SAD and how you deal with it. I am on ADs and I do have a lightbox on my desk. Unfortunately, we do not have the bucks for a trip to Florida in February.

Another thing I did is paint my room pink, buy a pink floral bedspread, and buy a huge painting showing a porch with white wicker furniture overlooking a garden and a lake.

Anyway, I'd appreciate other people's tips!!
