I'm mostly just embarrassed because IBS made me have to give up things like dairy and, as a vegetarian, that really limited my diet. even though i was a dedicated athlete i wasn't getting enough calories tho i was eating 6x a day, and once i saw i was losing too much weight it became hard to course-correct without having "episodes" in front of my friends / boyfriend. i had been doing so well with the IBS that i was terrified of it happening again and i didn't fix my diet up fast enough. now so upset with skinniness i'm eating gaining the weight back but sacrificing my digestive comfort for it. so tummyaches all day.
